Eufy RoboVac 11 vs Roomba 650: Entry-Level Robotic Cleaners
Having the opportunity to compare Eufy Robovac 11 vs Roomba 650, I can say that it’s not an easy deal to choose between these cleaners. They are both affordable, have three cleaning stages, 2600 mAh battery capacity, auto-charging, and time scheduling features. However, there are also some significant differences. For example, while the RoboVac 11 can be controlled remotely, the Roomba 650 can only be controlled with the help of buttons located on its top panel.
Suction and dustbin capacity
Both models feature quite an average 1000 Pa suction power, so there is nothing to compare. The RoboVac 11 has the dustbin capacity which is almost half bigger than the one of iRobot’s model: 600 ml versus 400 ml. This way, the RoboVac 11 can perform several cleanings without emptying while the Roomba 650 must be emptied after two-three cleaning sessions.
Using area
Using area is what makes a great difference between these models. If you have a large living-room or just live in a big house, it’s definitely better to opt for the Eufy RoboVac 11 as it covers the area of 2000 sq. ft. The Roomba 650, with only 800 sq. ft cleaning area, will work for a small or middle-sized room.
Noise level
Comparing Eufy Robovac 11 vs iRobot Roomba 650 in terms of their quiet operation skills, I was pleasantly surprised by both models. The cleaners aren’t noisy and didn’t disturb me. However, they have different noise level: the Eufy RoboVac 11 emits 56 dB while the Roomba 650 — 61 dB. Although I didn’t manage to notice this 5 dB difference.
Carpet cleaning
Both models clean thin carpets almost as good as they do it with hard floors. However, the Eufy RoboVac 11 slowed down on a high-pile carpet and wasn’t really effective. The Roomba 650 didn’t show impressive results on a high-pile carpet as well but, however, was slightly better than its competitor.
