Samsung POWERbot R7065 vs Robot Roomba 960: Clean House Carefully
Robot Roomba 960, as well as Samsung POWERbot R7065, is a powerful robot vacuum that secures sufficient house cleaning. Nevertheless, both models have their advantages and disadvantages: Robot Roomba 960 is a perfect solution for the big homes and pets owners but isn’t suitable for silence lovers; meanwhile, Samsung POWERbot R7065 is one of the best possible options for a small house.
The suction capability of Robot Roomba 960 impresses greatly. It’s equipped with the Premium 3-Stage Cleaning System that allows loosening, lifting, and suctioning dirt, dust, and pet hair. The vacuum has the High-Efficiency Filter, which is able to capture up to 99% of allergens, pollen, and dust. In general, Robot Roomba 960 performs an improved pick-up and secures decent area cleaning. Samsung POWERbot R7065 also presents powerful 800 Pa suction capability and delivers excellent cleaning results. However, there’s a great difference between the vacuums in terms of dustbin capacity: Roomba has a more capacious 750ml dustbin.
Robot Roomba 960 can clean a larger area compared with Samsung, in particular, 1500 square feet versus 1000 square feet. Roomba is equipped with the Patented iAdapt 2.0 Navigation with vSLAM technology, which lets the vacuum map its surroundings and clean the entire house. Also, its Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes quickly adjust and bend to remain in the continuous contact with the floors.
Samsung POWERbot R7065 has the Visionary mapping plus technology that allows the device to create an appropriate cleaning path and avoid any obstacle. The robot performs careful corners and wall edges cleaning. It’s equipped with a combo brush that guarantees completely effortless hair pick-up.
Both vacuums return to their docking stations automatically, recharge, and continue cleaning to complete their work.
While testing, I’ve noticed that the vacuums are noisy enough. The produced noise is really disturbing so it would be better to leave the house when the machines work or program them to clean when you’re absent.
Roomba, as well as Samsung, provides the carpet cleaning mode and copes with the task well. Even deeply embedded pet hair is picked up from a carpet. Samsung has an advantage, in this case: its large wheels provide smooth movements, ensuring the transition from hard floors to carpet.
