ECOVACS Deebot M80 vs DEEBOT N79S – what is a better option?
I had a chance to test and compare two great robot cleaners - ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S vs Deebot M80.
The battery life is where these two models almost match – M80 can work for 110 minutes, while N79S can clean your area for 100 minutes without going back to the recharging station. The charging time is 4 hours for M80 and 3-4 hours for N79S. Both models have 4 cleaning stages assuring perfect cleaning of rooms, no matter how complex a surface is.
These two models have a remote control feature. Both solutions also have Wi-fi modules, so you can control them via an application for your phone.
Both vacuum cleaners are completely safe for people, animals, and furniture. These two robot cleaners are protected as well, they have an anti-collision feature. They have protective bumpers so they will not damage our furniture. Both models have a drop sensor so they will not fall from a ledge. The difference between these models is that N79S does not have an “intensive” mode. Both models have the time scheduling function, but they do not have a virtual wall feature.
DEEBOT N79S is more powerful – the suction power is 1000 pa versus 800 pa that M80 has, but the latter has a 500 ml dustbin, while N79S has a 450 ml dustbin.
M80 covers a 1600 square feet area, while N79S cleans a 1000 square feet area.
M80 is better if you want a quiet solution – the noise level is 56 dB, while N79S’s level is 67 dB.
N79S supports the carpet cleaning function, while M80 does not.
