I’ve decided to present the ILIFE A4 robot vacuum cleaner review to disclose this model’s more features like a branded Roomba’s 3-stage dry cleaning algorithm to remove dust and dirt efficiently. Although it lacks smart options and works randomly, it doesn’t miss dirty areas. Does it clean them well?
The ILIFE A4 is a small unit with only 12.2 inches across. Besides, it is very low, being just 3 inches high to clean under furniture regardless of its clearance. The lightweight device weighs just 4.9 pounds. The dust container capacity is 0.45 liter, making me empty it several times during a single session.
This model is good at vacuuming on hard floors, removing everything from the fine debris to the large cereals. It also copes well with such heavy debris as sand, without scattering it. The reason for such a good job is a great airflow of 11 – 14 CFM compared to other robotic vacuums’ 10 or 9 CFM.
The ILIFE A4 motor has extra vacuum suction power up to 1000PA that is activated via a Max mode to cope with stubborn dirt or carpets. The triple filter consists of primary, sponge, and washable HEPA layers to ingest the tiniest allergic and harmful particles. It works in Auto mode for regular cleaning and a dedicated mode to eliminate spots. Edge cleaning is implemented to make the unit remove the dirt along the walls.
The appliance has cliff sensors to avoid dropping off the stairs and an infrared sensor to not bump into furniture or get stuck somewhere.
The ILIFE A4 smart robotic vacuum cleaner can clean up to 120 minutes on a single charge thanks to a 2600-milliamp-hour battery. One can schedule the vacuum to clean at a specific time on particular days by using the remote control.
The round-shaped ILIFE A4 robot vacuum has a power switch on the side and a single AUTO button on the top that changes colors depending on the robot’s status. For example, it flashes orange while charging and glows green, when the battery is full, and it goes to a cleaning mode. The green light starts blinking when the user selects mode, turning into red in the case of error. It’s possible to make the unit go into standby mode by holding the AUTO button for 3 seconds. The ILIFE A4 manual accurately describes how to make other settings.
The assembly has two side brushes that are long enough to reach corners; at least approximately, by 80%. Two rotating roller brushes in the middle underneath have both silicone blades and bristles. The robot comes with a remote control, a cleaning tool for a roller brush, two extra side brushes, and a HEPA filter for replacement.
I believe that the ILIFE A4 review shed light on the unit’s power and utility. It’s a budget device to carefully remove all types of dry dirt from the surface. This lightweight and portable unit requires emptying the bin frequently, but Max mode and the ability to clean along the walls fill the gap. The battery life is even more impressive since it’s based on a powerful airflow. In other words, if the robot gets 2 hours of battery life with just a few CFM of airflow, it won't be as efficient as getting the same 2 hours with up to 14 CFM of airflow.
