The Roborock brand has affiliations with tech giants Xiaomi and follows the latter’s innovative footsteps to create the Roborock S6 Pure. The brand created the S6 Pure as a budget option for people looking to experience some perks of robot vacuum cleaners like the Roborock S6 or S6 Max without paying their premium prices.
Dimensions
The Roborock S6 Pure doesn’t take up space, which is ideal for people who don’t have a lot of storage space in their apartments. The device has a dimension of 13.78 x 1.9 x 3.78 inches and a dust bin with 0.5 L capacity. The short height improves the vacuum cleaner’s maneuverability, as it can clean underneath sofas and furniture with at least 4 inches clearance. It weighs 7.1 pounds, which is light enough to make picking it up convenient.
Features
The S6 Pure has a processor with four cores and a mapping and localization algorithm, making it one of the most accurate home mappers at the time of release. It also has four infrared sensors, which tell the cleaner the size of your rooms, the position of objects, and the best routes for proper cleaning. The machine has onboard memory to ensure it doesn’t have to remap your rooms every time it cleans them.
And if you are worried about its cleaning cycles, the 5200mAh battery will power the device while cleaning for about 150 minutes before needing to recharge. However, while the Roborock S6 Pure mopping was mopping, I noticed that it still bumped into some obstacles because it lacks an obstacle avoidance system.

It excels at cleaning bigger-sized debris like nuts, crumbs, and sand from flat surfaces. But the edge-detection isn’t as precise as more premium models. You will notice some crumbs and dirt left in wall corners, so the device must go over those areas several times to properly clean them.
The automatic mopping is one of its standout features. The Roborock S6 Pure manual water tank transmits water to the cleaning pad, so the device mops spilled liquids well.
