The iRobot Roomba 960 is the high-end Wi-Fi connected robot vacuum with customized cleaning via iRobot HOME mobile application. Its power automatically enhances to remove tough dirt and the mapping tech ensures proper cleaning on short notice. The 960’s design provides its ability to handle carpets and any type of hard floors.
Dimensions
The iRobot Roomba 960 is 13.8 inches across and that can cut off access to small items of furniture (stools, for example). However, it’s a low profile device with a height of 3.6 inches to handle cleaning under the beds, wardrobes, etc. The unit weighs 8 pounds that make it easy to carry the robot around the house and move between floors.
This robot features a very large dust container (750 ml) that allows emptying it after two cycles through the house of more than 2000 sq. ft.
Features

Like any other robot vacuum, this unit is designed for dry cleaning only. However, it’s compatible with the Braava JET M6 for mopping.
Design
The round-shaped device comes with two large rubber wheels to cope with the door thresholds easily and to save delicate surfaces from damage. One more wheel is on the front to let the robot move forward.
The dustbin is on the back part. The front part of the Roomba is covered with sensors to indicate obstacles. The 960 has a camera on top for navigation that won’t work if it’s covered. In addition, it requires at least a small amount of light in order to detect surroundings.
