続きを読むNeato and iRobot are two reputable and well-known brands in the world of robotic vacuum cleaners. This review is dedicated to Neato D7 vs Roomba i7 comparison—two mid-range models with Alexa support, smart navigation, and a variety of other features that provide excellent cleaning effectiveness.
The D7 has quite a basic suction power level of 1000 Pa. Compare it to the solid 1800 Pa offered by the i7. However, the Neato model features the Turbo mode while its competitor gives no way to control the suction level. In terms of dustbin capacity, the model from iRobot takes the leading position as well. It can hold up to 500 ml of dirt, whereas the D7 has a capacity of only 350 ml.
As my Roomba i7 vs Neato D7 comparison has shown, the largest difference between the cleaners lies in their maximum using area. The i7 has a coverage that is two times larger than the D7 can offer: 2000 square feet versus 1000 square feet.
In the Roomba vacuum i7 vs Neato D7 noise level battle, the models have a distinction in only 4 dB with the i7 being slightly louder (62 dB vs 58 dB) which doesn't make a lot of difference. However, the D7's Turbo mode changes the sound emitted by the unit from humming to rumbling which is really irritating.
The D7 uses bristle brushes that aren't so effective when it comes to carpet cleaning since they aren't able to deeply penetrate into the carpet fibers. The iRobot model has a much more effective on-carpet performance. It uses multi-surface rubber brushes that don't get tangled and can come in really close contact with the carpet's surface. However, comparing Neato D7 vs Roomba i7 reliability, it should be mentioned that both brushes are designed for long-term use and won't wear out quickly even in daily use conditions.
